University of Basque Country (UPV) SPAIN Graduate and Doctor in Biology from the University of Basque Country (UPV). Dr. Irazusta is Full Professor in the Department of Physiology in the UPV, where he teaches in Medicine and Physiotherapy Degrees, in the Master Degree of Biomedical Research and Healthy Aging Healthy and Quality of Life, and in the PhD in Biomedical Research. He is currently Director of the Department of Physiology (UPV/EHU). His research has been carried out in two areas: cellular communication and exercise physiology, with a focus in recent years on healthy aging. He is responsible for the AgeingOn Research Group. Dr. Irazusta participated in the XIII International Symposium on Strength Training with the presentation entitled "CHANGES IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY HABITS OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS DURING THE PANDEMIC CAUSED BY COVID-19".
